This basic portal application demonstrates several powerful Fusebox techniques. The first of these is known as "nested layouts", and allows content to be wrapped within code supplied by increasingly higher level application "circuits". This technique has become standard with the release of Fusebox 3 (FB3).

The second technique is the calling of entire Fusebox applications as modules to perform various sub-tasks within a larger task.

When these two techniques are combined, we see how easy it is to create complex layouts in which the various components are supplied by helper modules.
