Hal Helms had the original idea for DevNotes, which are like sticky notes that can be attached to web pages during the HTML prototyping phase of the Fusebox Lifecycle Process (FLiP).

Steve Nelson then created an no-database-required, easy-install version, called the PrototypeStarterKit.

With Hal's advice, I have built a derivation of this tool that displays the DevNotes in a separate frame, and features full message threading, email notifications, navigation links, and much more. You can even annotate images and other non-HTML files!
